Respecting Every Resident
We believe that each individual has the right to privacy, respect and dignity.
Our home values the diversity and uniqueness of each and every one of our residents. We believe in inclusion and cultural respect regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation or beliefs. We endeavour to meet the needs of every person - the whole person - inclusive of physical, social, religious and mental well-being.
Caring for the Whole Person
Physical
24-hour nursing, medical oversight and a personal nutrition plan.
Social
Daily recreation, outings, and time with family and friends.
Spiritual
Weekly interdenominational services and pastoral care visits.
Mental
Stimulating programs, one-on-one visits and dementia support.
Resident & Family Councils
Residents and family members are encouraged to take part in Resident Council, designed so residents have input into decisions affecting their life at the home. A Family Council gives families a voice as well.
Families are also invited to take part in resident care conferences and to complete our resident and family satisfaction surveys.
